Of course, if you are doing studio work or big-time shows that makes use many of those features or you require the most authentic simulation available nothing but the best will do. I do many gigs where the audience is pushing up against the stage and my keyboards. I certainly don't want to risk my high-end gear on these shows. The Casio is cheap enough to be disposable should an accident happen yet achieves remarkably good results. I run my Casio through a $2000 sound system and people often ask me how do you get such a great sound out of a Casio. I have a Kurzweil PC2X which technically sounds much better than the Casio but usually I'm able to get closer to the sound I'm looking for on the Casio. Music is not necessarily about the sound quality of the instrument. Many classic instruments are not perfectly tunable or have high-fidelity sound yet great music has been produced with these instruments including Melodicas.
