Before dropping $1700 or more on a Kurzweil, Nord, or Yamaha at least check out the Casio WK-7500. At about $500 it is a great 76-key do-everything (Organs, EP's, Clavinet, Harpsichord, Synths, Orchestral, Percussion, etc.) keyboard that is light weight and affordable. Split/layering, sequencing, audio recording and lots of editing capabilities that go beyond the Kurzweil in many areas. You could add a Casio Privia PX3 to the setup for a dedicated 88-note piano/supplemental keyboard and still pay hundreds less than a Kurzweil or Nord.

This video demonstrates only the tonewheel organ section but with it's editing capabilities it can do simulations of more than just the Hammond-type organ sounds heard here:
