Subject:Re: MUSIC and Tinnitus and Hearing loss ??

I have had it for years--sounds like very high hrtz sine waves modulating each
other--It is very loud but sometimes I kinda of forget it's there-It is my
understanding there is nothing that can be done about it other than using some
sort of white noise system to help you sleep --I get by without this remedy
--When I play I don't hear it and other wise I have the same TV and wife
issues--sometimes that is convenient lol

*Wow...You guys are OLD!! LOL! *
*Just kidding..I'll be 56 in August..*
*In the 80's I had a 2-12" cab with JBL's & a box with a JBL horn on top of
that..Right at head level.*
*Screaming Oberheim synth & Minimoog..I have a reasonable hearing loss..Hard
to understand the words on TV & when my wife wants me to do something...but
I'm sharp in the studio..No issues there. No Tinnitus though..*
*You guys may want to Google Pete Townshend & what he did to deal with his
tinnitus...*
*I remember some years ago he was playing acoustic guitar onstage in a
plastic shell or something..Some other guy on lead guitar..But since
then..the 911 concert..Superbowl appearance..he's rockin' out with his Strat
& a stack of Fenders..*
*Not sure what he did to remedy this problem..Might be worth checking it
out..*
*Norm--always saying..."Huh?"
