I hate it when cats hear better than I do….

Actually, about 10 years ago I went to an audiologist and she did a hearing test on me. She told me that I had the hearing of a 17 year old. I had no idea that she was talking about a 17 year old dog!

But seriously, my hearing is not bad. Especially considering I have been playing in bands since I was 15 years old. 40 years later… It’s amazing I can hear at all.

You are right living with Tinnitus or hearing loss is not a fun existence ...The
weird thing for me i know i have had both for a long time ..i dont know if that
is 10-20 yrs or more...
I will be 65 this year ...with medicare looming ...lol...
..I dont know if the seemingly hard of hearing an tinnitus go hand in hand .I
think not ...I do know for me hearing loss came on so slowly ...That i never
really knew i had it till my girlfriend could hear things i could not ...And
then when I realized my cat had such a wonderfully acute sense of hearing ..that
pissed me off tooo ...lo
I see hearing aids in my future ....an what will that do to my music playing
..??
