Best thing is to not pay attention to the buzzing. As we age hearing
loss is a given. I read somewhere the buzzing comes from ear "hairs"
that are flattened like trees after a tornado and some have tried laser
treatments to get them to stand back up. Don't know if its a wonder
cure. There are factory preset eq settings on some plugins called "40
year old man" meaning there are frequencies missing. Medications are
known to cause ringing and buzzing, aspirin etc. If you can hear most
music as much of it is mixed for "normal" hearing then you should be
fine as having the ears of a cat are not a prerequisite for mixing and
enjoying music.
