This happened with Hammond consoles as well. After years of playing a
1930's BC, getting a new late 60's B3 was frustrating as the keys felt cheaper,
springy.

It would be neat if keyboard makers incorporated adjustable features on
their beds. I understand they are supplying their major customers with the
grade of beds they spec for but for some reason key makers don't feel its cost
effective to make really good keybeds and then they get threads like these. I
wonder if Fatar made a pro grade controller if it would sell enough for
them to continue making them? Is it a case of no market or?
