Hi All,

Are you talking about getting VB3 signal out cleaner from i.e. an additional USB sound card ?

Had a couple of them ($ 1 each at eBAY from H.Kong) just to do 'cheap multitracking' ( see about that at instructables.com )

Have a UCA 202 Behringer USB audio interface and don't know if that fits the bill for avoiding noise from internal SPK OUT notebook audio socket.

Told that cause otherwise as usual in Soundblaster compatible cards , a LINE OUT socket is always available , you know, it's something not found in most of notebooks/netbooks.

Best,

Rafael

Hi Chris,

You and many others have helped me to understand this VI stuff so I feel a little funny suggesting something to you but you mention the headphone out is a little noisy. Maybe I misunderstand the problem but are you using an external USB to audio interface? In the little research I have been doing, the consensus seems to be not to use the internal audio output from the computer, even if it's an internal sound card because of possible extra noise.

BTW, again I have to say how absolutely awesome your controller looks! I must play fantastically! Question about keying...How exactly do you do it mechanically? There was a discussion regarding a midi retro fit into a console for midi output and it seemed no one was really sure how to go about to get a proper interface between the Hammond key and a midi switch.
Cheers,
Rock
