Subject:Re: Korg CX-3

Original Korg is the same as Yamaha FC7, just different logo. I'm not
sure about polarity, can check it tomorrow. Question is what is wrong
with yours, I can't see any possible reason why pedal itself could go
wrong, it's mechanically it's very well built. I've been using them
for twenty years without any problem. Your description is not enough
detailed. Is there any difference in the volume when you just connect
the pedal? No change when you move it?

Maybe just disconnected cable inside? or wrong cable? or something
disconnected in the jack? or short circuit? Or some problem with
mechanics (pedal doesn't move with the pot)? In the worse case wrong
pot... Better check it with the other instrument, and open and check
all connections and mechanics inside.

Worse scenario: problem is in the instrument, wrong or missing
voltage on one pin... Check it with dummy stereo jack or any stereo
cable connected, and with voltmeter. Or try with the same pedal which
is OK.

Good luck.
