My Stages will only interpret the high trigger point locally. Any
external MIDI info is regular velocity. I asked Clavia about this early
on in the development of the Stage and they told me it wasn't possible
to allow for external high trigger. At the time I was using my V5 with
the Stage, and the Stage organ would trigger, followed by the V5. I
ended up abandoning the high trigger for this reason. I have no idea
how the C1/C2 handle this, but according to Bruce's comments you may in
fact have the choice.
