Hi All,

Never had heard about the variant of gipsy-jazz or gypsy-swing.with violin.

This is about Chilean violin player Hernán Oliva (RIP) with accompaniment of a local guitar player both Buenos Aires residents.

Probably this genre was influenced by the legendary guitar player Oscar Aleman  ( oscar-aleman.com.ar ) He was born in Chaco (ARG) . Also can be found at youtube, btw friend and peer of Django Reinhardt as both sharing the stage in France before WWII.
