Subject:PLEASE - trim your posts

Could some of you folks please trim your posts of quoted lines? Some of the more recent posts have contained upwards of 1,000 lines (I stopped counting at 600 lines) of repeatedly quoted text, including large numbers of empty lines with no content. I realize in the heat of the moment when replying one might have a tendency to type out a reply and then just hit the send button without thinking about editing their post. However those of us who receive posts via digest mode have to wade through all this just to get to the next bit of pertinent info. And there might still be people who have a dialup connection which can add to their online charges by having to download all these extra lines. So please, have some consideration and trim your posts so that the lines you wish to quote contain only the details pertinent to your post.
