Updating the OS will not void the warranty (as long as it's still new). David, I hope you haven't purchased anything else from the dealer that wouldn't allow you to return a brand new product. I wouldn't buy anything else from a manufacturer that built it either. Do us all a favor and tell us what it was, and who sold it to you.
