I know the Crumar brand has an iffy reputation, but I do recall back in the mid-seventies when I was desperate for an eletric piano that a Crumar Roadrunner came to my rescue. As I saved up some money I was able to buy a Rhodes, but the little Crumar saved me and when the time came to part with it didn't owe me a thing.

What's in a name???
I suspect that the informed members of this list will recognize that this is not the same organization that was responsible for the original Crumar products(thanks to Guido's communication to us).
The Crumar name does have some "vintage" appeal... Not as much as the moog or hammond brand, but perhaps as much as some of the other combo organs like farfisa, vox, elka, ace tone or rheem etc. And seriously, who except those few individuals who owned a Crumar keyboard can remember how well any of these Crumar products did or didn't perform?
By releasing this under the Crumar brand they do align themselves with a keyboard legacy, of some kind, if nothing more than its' a name that is familiar to some.
All that said, the product will speak for itself. It sounds fantastic, and I'm sure we'll quickly see how well it works over the next few months as they start to roll out to various people on this list (I'm scraping my pennies together as I write this note).
The one little bit of advice I have for Guido is to ensure that the documentation is good, AND there is a solid support system in place to assist early adopters with any early life issues!!
Go Guido Go!!!
