I think their best bet would be to license the Vent technology/design. There is a lot of power and research in that little box

and it likely not practical (or possible) for the keyboard manufacturers to invest that much in the effects portion of the

instrument. That box is $500 for a good reason…..it’s worth it, but the manufacturers want to move keyboards at a “pricepoint”

and so compromises are made.

The overdrive on the xk3c was vastly superior to the xk3. The overdrive on the SK1 is a major step down.
