Subject:Re: OT: Attenuator on a Leslie
Hi,
Just to let you know, I got a Weber MASS Lite 100w Attenuator around 4 years ago, and easily connected it to my 70's Leslie 147 by cutting the cable from the amp to the crossover and splicing in a 4' attenuator cable with a 1/4" plug on the amp end, to go to the attenuator input sitting on top of the Leslie, and a 1/4" female plug on the crossover end to receive a second 1/4" to 1/4" attenuator cable coming from the MASS unit out. The cables and in line jack I got from Weber as well. This setup is working to give me the power tube overdrive I want at a very comfortable small bedroom level.
Hope this is helpful...
God bless,
Mundaka
