Yeah you get that. The KB series was typical Peavey, makes sound has a few features but it does not fall under the boutique category of amps. If you think about it, as the keyboard makers cranked out keyboards be they Vox, Farfisa, Rheem, what have you, they never seemed to follow up with a suitable keyboard amp at least back in the day. Still, does Nord or Yamaha (except for Tyros) make amps for their keyboards? Roland is the only keyboard maker who does to a large extent. I used to play my Contempo through a Bandmaster and a Farfisa through a Showman. I would venture to say that while guitar and bass players on pro tour share the same amps weekend warriors use, can't say the same for keyboards. You will never see a keyboard amp on stage during a pro tour except maybe for Rod Argent with the Zombies of late and Eons are not sold as keyboard amps.. Keyboards are all through monitors.

I had a KB100 for awhile. Wicked loud for a 100W but had constant issues with it shorting out. Replaced it with a Roland KC350. Could not believe how much better the Roland sounded than the KB with my gear.
