I use a Nord switch with my vent. Works great. My old halfmoons are fine, but they're just too fragile. The Nord switch is virtually indestructible, albeit ridiculously expensive.

I replace all the switch tips on my switches with dies with slots cut in them. Way too easy for the "tele-style" tips to pop off. I have a scar on my left palm to prove it.

The switch is industrial velcroed in place, which is still slightly wobbly for my tastes. Next week I'm receiving some pedalboard tape, which looks like velcro but it supposed to be more rigid.
