Subject:OT-Shameless Plug-OT New Music
Hey Norm,
I listed to all the samples, and the new CD sounds GREAT!! If the rest of you folks in this group haven't given this a listen, please do so.. If you do, I'm sure you'll pick up a copy (I am)!
Norm, these collaborations of yours turned out great.. perhaps when you get a few spare minutes, you can elaborate on the process you follow for these collaborations.. I'm sure it must be challenging writing, arranging, and mixing collaboratively over the internet when you're miles and miles apart.. Sharing the files, and working together must be a challenge both musically, and from a technology standpoint!!
Maybe it's simpler than I'm imagining.. perhaps you just write and arrange everything, and then you send it to your guitarist, and he just lays down a track.. However, when I listen to the samples it seems to me that you must be working out some of these melodies and arrangements together?
Not trying to make work for you, but I'm sure I'm not the only member here thats interested in the process, as well as your music!

This is a one time ad for my latest CD project...Music Through The Wire...
I have been doing internet collaborations for quite some time & this latest
project is a whole album with a guitarist I have never met in person..
I decided this time to share soloing & melodies with someone else. This guy
Robert Siekawitch is the best player I have ever worked with.
He plays in the Larry Carlton-Joe Satriani-Jeff Beck style i guess you
could say..
Recorded in my home studio using ProTools 8..
This is a set of music from a keyboardists point of view. I wrote most of
the music & am using my NORD Stage Compact & 2 Yamaha synths..
Also includes some of that "synth guitar' stuff i like to do.*
If you would like some cool instrumental music from one of your own please
check it out. Could be the best $9-$12 you ever spent!! LOL !!
