I always thought perfect pitch was something rather ridiculous in concept.
Very good relative pitch, and a good memory for a learned reference point
makes much more sense.

For those that claim to have perfect pitch, which do you have? A=404Hz
(Paris Opera), A=421Hz (Mozart), A=433.5Hz (Meantone), A=436Hz
(Equal), A=440Hz (Paris Conservatoire), A=442Hz (German), A=454Hz
(Steinway), or any of the other common documented pitches?

How do you feel about the non-equal temperament from the tonewheels, or
other non-equal temperament instruments. Do you dislike F# on a piano, or
playing at the extremes of the keyboard due to stretch tuning?

Curiosity - I don't have perfect pitch. If I think about it I can usually
sing a note without a conscious reference and then confirm by striking it on
a piano. But I'm convinced this is from a learnt pitch memory and relative
pitch.
