No, sorry! You still make no sense to me! ;) I'm gonna give up on the
philosophical aspect of this discussion to say this:

The "horns front" Stop function is a fantastic idea, a blindingly obvious
idea to all who have spent much time using the stopped sound. Every guy I
know who likes to run stopped has mentioned wanting this function. It was
added to the Vent, and it is also going to be added to the VB3 sim for V2.

In this case, "completely authentic" loses out to "wish my real one could do
that".
