LOL>.. Yeah, trons were something else back then. I used to be the
"Mellotron guy" as a recording studio in Miami in the 70's... Never
had to move or service them, thank God.

But reading Mike Pinder's stories on how The Moody Blues would have
to stop the show, or keep on playing while Mike was behind the machine
putting the tapes back into the Mark II. Those machines were NOT made
to tour, but to be in people's homes.

But even then there were problems... It was not until the Model 400's
came out that you had somewhat dependable machines on stage... Until
Rick Wakeman burned his on top of some hill in the UK.
