Subject:Nord C1 + Vent with and without Speakeasy AMA

I have now done extensive testing with my Nord C! into a Vent into a QSC K12 cabinet (mono).

Without the SpeakEasy AMA in the circuit, it sounds really good, but has a somewhat "clean" and "bright" top end that I immediately want to eq out. After trying to eq it to my tastes, it just starts sounding dullish.

When I use the AMA in the circuit, it just sounds great; that clean and bright top end goes away and the sound has the warm tone that I remember when using my Hammond and 145 leslie.

The AMA does make a difference.

Nest, to hear this thing in stereo! I have to buy another K12!!!!

Also, I do prefer running a mono cable from the headphone out as opposed to the left output of the Nord C1. Not sure why this is.
