My audio sensory system gave up on 20K a long, long time ago. The last
time I had a hearing test my audiologist said that I had the hearing of
a 17 year old. I have no idea if that is good or bad news.
So I took another hearing test at NAMM and the chart showed normal
hearing. But I can't hear my wife. She yells "turn up your hearing aid!"
I wave the chart at her and say "I have the hearing of a 17 year old!".
The war goes on...

high frequency area?
yes, because it is on the audible zone and the PA or speaker should
reproduce it. Maybe your audio signal doesn't achieve 20K but certainly
other audio signals will do.
