Brock: I am pleased to let you know that you were voted in by the general
public as best keyboardist for this years Calgary International Blues Awards.
The awards ceremony and jam will be held at the Red Foxx Tavern (Ramada hotel
downtown at 708-8th Avenue S.W. Calgary) on Wednesday February 23, 2011. It
would be nice if you could attend. We usually take about five minutes to hand
out the award certificates and then Donald Ray Johnson and his band will do a
set. After it will open up to those wishing to jam with Don’s band hosting.
Mike Huston et.al… Hope to see you there. Show starst at 8PM so try to get
there by then if at all possible. Feel free to let everyone you know you have
won this award and invite them down to this free event sponsored by the Calgary
Blues Music Association. Thanks, I am very happy for you Brock. Some
recognition long overdue…
