Thanks for your good advices ... I'm gonna try to convince my banker (my wife ...) to buy one in Germany (It's obviously impossible to find a retailer in France ...).
The NE3 sound is quite good but not "warm" enough to me. that's one of the reason why I bought the Electro Harmonix Preamp (the tubes bring fatter and warmer sounds), the other reason is that I play in a Deep Purple cover band : I need overdrived sounds, and the NE3 output levels are not high enough.
