I agree - it's all about how whatever organ you're playing, feels/sounds to
YOU... after decades of Hammonds and (from '92 on) clones, I'm the most
satisfied I've ever been. I love my Nord C1 and Vent! To me, they bring about
the best Jimmy Smith, McGriff, McDuff et al Hammond sounds I've ever
played. Ditto the prog sounds too (Wakeman/Emo/Van Leer/et also).

Enjoy - Adam

I am going to have to strongly disagree that the Numa feels cheap. I
the keybed feels rock solid to me and I am perfectly fine with the
layout. It took me about one day to get used to togging between lower
and upper manuals. The percussion switches are easy to use, and I
actually like where they are located.

I could go off here and say a few things that I do not like about some
other boards out there. There are definitely boards that are popular
that feel at least as cheap to me as the Numa. But there are people who
love them and get good sounds out of them .

If you think you are getting a Jimmy Smith sound or whatever you are
going for, great! Jimmy had a lot of different sounds that he used,
and the latter period with chorale and no chorus sounds pretty
authentic through most of the clones I have heard.
