Subject:Re: Numa, Xk3c, Nord, most authentic?

My first clonewheel was an Acetone GT7 (forerunner of the Hammond X5) with a Leslie 147. Later, I had a Hammond M100 with a Leslie 145, and a 1974 Hammond B3 with a Leslie 122, which I bought brand new. Now I have a Hammond XK3c with XLK3 lower manual and XPK200 pedalboard, which I play through a JBL EON15/G2. I also have an XK1 that I use for rehearsals and small gigs. I think the XK3c and XK1 sound and play great, their only shortcoming being a too-warbly chorus vibrato. The only significant difference that I notice between them is the slightly stiffer keyboard on the XK1. At this point, I do not feel a need to buy a Ventilator and am not tempted to buy a different clonewheel, but I am hoping to see a new XK with a smoother chorus vibrato.
