You can buy a 4 channel mixer for $50 and have the ability for more than one instrument (since most if not all of us are using more than just organ). Just sayin.

No, it does make sense. To keep the same ration of volume to overdrive you would need a volume control between the vent and amp. Many of us play with the vent going directly into powered monitors and reaching around the back of one of these to raise the volume is a pain.
This would be useful for me as our first set increases in volume significantly over 75 minutes.

I still don't see, being in the chain position it's in, why the organ volume
control wouldn't be the same--What I need to serve the purpose as stated is some
way to remotely control the Master volume of my Traynor K4 , like the QSC's can
do .

Joan and All
After checking out the V cable at the below web site ..i think the volume knob
would be unhandy ...IMHO to get to.
I am sure i will be corrected if I am not seeing the big picture here ...
...I have my Ventilator on top of my NE3 on right side in back of keys even
that is unhandy for me to move my hands from keys to
make an adjustment to any of the VENT knobs ...let alone adding another onto the
cables on back of VENT..????
The V Cable vol knob would be behind the Vent where it plugs into Vent ...even
a more UN_HANDY access to V Cable knob ..
So i guess i dont see a practical application for this knob ...
Or does the V Cable when used with keyboard ..Vol control plug end of V Cable
is plugged into keyboard ???
help me out here !!!!!!! please

There is a new accessory product now available from Rapco: called V Cable;
designed in conjunction with Taylor Guitars. Its a cable with a volume knob
built into a right angle plug. We got a sample to try, and tonight I discovered
that it works great as an output volume control for the Ventilator when it is
placed on top of your organ, for easy control while playing. Lets you crank your
organ without having to reach back to adjust your amp during the show for
maximum overdrive (Jon Lord, Winwood, etc) then back it down at the output to
match level of your clean tone. Puts the volume control right at your finger
tips, and it looks cool too. Its available in different lengths, we are stocking
it in 18'and can order other lengths. We just put a photo up on the Ventilator
Facebook Page and I can email the photo to you if you don't want to use
Facebook, let me know. Its just one of those cool new things that makes so much
sense. I can't wait to use it at our next gig.
