Subject:The Ventilator Showed up!

So the store that I work at, (the only official Neo Instruments dealer in Oregon) got in the Ventilator pedal. I had a Korg SV-1 to do a demo with the pedal. Nice and warm tube sounds, and the B3's on that are ok. We don't have any B3 clones at the moment.

MAN! This thing is amazing! It has that extra grit that you can't get on the digital B3's. Believe me, I have tried. The grit that I get on the programming side, is more square sounding, and less of a tube (round) driven sound.

So I got to take one home to try out with my Korg CX-3. There is that grit that I was looking for. The fact that the upper and lower rotors accelerate and decelerate at different speeds (like a real Leslie) is just amazing!
And for fun I switched between the Leslie Simulator on the CX-3 and then did the pedal. The difference is unbelievable. The Ventilator takes it hands down!

This pedal really is amazing. Looking forward to hearing a guitar go through it!
This will be a great addition to my rig and a great solution for small studios that don't have the budget or the room for a Leslie.
