Subject:Re: Videos of My VB3 Live
Some of the photos on our myspace page were from one of our Orbit Room performances last summer.. The Orbit Room has a house B3 and at these gigs I took advantage of this, hence the pictures of me sitting at a real B3. I have to B's and 3 leslies sitting in my living room.. so if the right gig came along, some kind of showcase or something like that, I might actually use a real Hammond, but I haven't used the real hammond since recording our original CD two years ago.
Our original CD posted on our Myspace page features my real Hammond (which is an A100 transplanted into a B-style cabinet, through a 147 leslie). The exception is that the organ solo on Picking Hopes was VB3.. and it's a very cool sound (if I say so myself!), and worth checking out if you want to hear how grungy VB3 can get!
If you want to see/hear my regular gig rig (C2/ventilator/Sonic Cell/2 x QSC K10's) check out my youtube page, search for "ccmacdon" on youtube or here's a link to me playing Hush at the El Mocambo 2 weeks ago:

It wasn't my best performance and the mix kind of sucked but Green Eyed Lady and Hush turned out OK, you might enjoy them.
Thanks, and check out my youtube channel (ccmacdon) when you get a chance.. some of the videos are crappy quality, but you get a sense for how the band sounds!
