Mainstage is becoming the app of choice for both keyboardists and guitar players in live situations. The virtual FX in Logic Pro are stunning and Mainstage allows the performer to bring their studio rigs to live gigs in a seamless and extremely bulletproof manner.

> Laptops seem to be turning up on stage everywhere. I saw the Pointer Sisters recently and whilst there were 6 kb's on stage the lead guitarist was using a Mac laptop to run all his effects (with a midi controller pedal board).  Rare in my experience for a guitarist to futher down this path than the keyboard guys.
