Subject:Piano simulator answer to Nord Pianos

I just found the answer to the Nord piano issues.
It's called Pianoteq.
I just ordered the Pianoteq play version. With this version you get 3 digitally recreated grand piano sounds. I'm extremely impressed and have never hard a digital piano sound quite this good.
The Pianoteq Play version is 99.00 US.
You can all buy what they call add-ons. For instance, you can buy the EP add-on for I believe 49.00.
You can buy the clav add-on for 29.00.
There is also a full version with a variety of all types of electric grands, acoustic grands, EPs, Clavs and things like marimba and harpsichord. this version allows you to edit the sound in several different ways.
The price on that version is 399.00.
With that you can EQ the sound. Set reverb, and many other adjustments not available on any other piano program with the exception of Ivory which will set you back several hundred bucks, is an actual sample and requires 100G of memory to load.
If you got to Pianoteq.com you can hear sound samples of all of the pianos as well as download a trial version which is very cool.
I ordered mine from a guy named Karl Long at Sweetwater. Super guy and can hook you up.
It's well worth the time to at least listen to what they offer.
Chuck
