Subject:Newbie to VB3

Hey guys, I 'm inexperienced when it comes to computer based instruments. I'd like to play around with VB3 and would like to know the easiest and cheapest way to accomplish this. I do have a MacBook Pro and was planning on controlling with a Kurzweil PC3.

Any and all help is much appreciated.
