Subject:Re: Hammond SK2 - Gig Tested

I read some extremely arrogant claims made by Hammond Suzuki and some of their endorsees that made statements to the effect that the SK's were going to make the Nord obsolete, and that the owners of Key B and Numa instruments should go home and listen to their Frank Sinatra Jr. records.... and various crap like this. It didn't tend to make me want to support their products.

IN my own experience I was highly disappointed in the previous "extravoices" that Hammond offered in the XK-1. It gave me the impression that H/S was willing to cut corners sound wise and call it good.

Personally I tend to lean in the direction of what the Italians are up to. I have little to complain about after having a Numa for a year and I am very excited about what is happening with Crumar.

It will be interesting to see what kind of product support will happen with the Mojo. But for now so far so good with the Numa.

I have also heard about lock up issues with the SK's. And is the Hammond Suzuki labor warantee still 90 days?
