If it's anything like the Arturia Analog Experience "The Player" which is also bundled with the Arturia software synth VST package, it is a USB controller primarily, but there is also a MIDI out jack that will send keyboard note on/off and controller (fixed value CC messages). I've used it some with my Waldorf Blofeld which has assignable CC. The keyboard itself is constructed from wood and metal and the keyboard has a nice weighted feel (you can feel the metal weights underneath the keys). The Player (25 keys) is however not programmable, which I assume is the same for their 61 key version. -pc
