Hi Bruce,
I have two direct boxes.
one is the whirlwind imp 2
The other is a whirlwind EDB-1 which has a pad switch, -20 & -40 db settings.
I dont know if either one will accept speaker level inputs.
Both units are 1/4" in & out along with XLR balanced outs.
