I have to disagree respectfully. The Vent was not immediately adopted by our group. It was looked at very suspiciously and those that bought one initially and raved about it were also looked at ascance. I remember this because I was confused as to whether or not to buy one.

Initially, for very person who loved it, there were 10 or 20 that said their solution was better, and who in the world would possibly pay $500 for a rotary effects box. My goodness, that was deemed "Out of the Question!!"

But little by little people bought it. And there was one key person I respect immensely who had purchased it and started to say, "Hey I'm starting to leave my leslie, or Road Box (or whatever name it was) at home". THAT said it all to me. I was a fairly early adopter based on about 4 of you owning it and loving it.

I had been off the boards for about a year working my butt off on an assignent several hundred miles from my home. But when I came back, early April, I suddenly found that the Vent was now the defacto stardard to judge all other rotary boxes

So it's not entirely impossible that the Ventura could gain traction. Not for me personally becuase I'm not a B3 raised person and don't fiddle with drawbars once I set them for a song.

But based on the history of the Vent as I remember it, who knows? (I remember all this becuase for the first time in my life I was an "early adopter:!)

That's odd, I thought the general consensus regarding the Vent on this list was
big 'two thumbs up'. I recall one rave after another, maybe I wasn't reading
