I guess you are now aware of the way things work in Brazil when it comes
to international products/parts.
I understand Meteoro... Imported parts are expensive as hell!!! To assemble
something like a Leslie speaker, and if it costs U$ 7,600.00 they are not
even putting some incredible profit on top of the basic production cost.

I mentioned that before, but... when I bought my Xk1, it costed me U$
1,400.00 in Chicago, IL.
Here in Brazil you can get one for U$ 4,500.00 (already with exchange rate
computed).

There is no way they could be healthly competitive with such ridiculous tax
over international parts and products.
I hate saying that, but if you guys think your economy is strugglin'... look
around!

Offtopic yes... but I had to get it out of my chest!
It makes me so angry that everyone else can get clonewheels for U$2.000,00,
U$3.000,00 and we pay for the exact same thing U$9,000.00, U$10,000.00!

Than, put that 4x crap over every little Leslie part Meteoro had to buy to
assemble the thing.
So... if that's true... I don't even get mad at the company.
