I'd say yes for sure. First, it's all-plastic and both sides are identical wavy rows of little fingers (brilliant). I've notice regular velcro eventually gathers crap and it gets imbedded and messy. This stuff doesn't seem to. Secondly, the adhesive s quite strong, you want to be sure of where you want to stick it. You can get it anywhere, I go to my local Ace hardware place, but I've seen it in the large chain drugstores and bigger supermarkets.
