Bobby and Folks,
Remembered that had bought (GAS) a very nice gadget like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/BCK-08-Slim-A2DP-Stereo-universal-Bluetooth-Headsets-/290570846517?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a75f4135
$10 ea.
That's is like to add "wireless bluetooth receiver besides the amp" believe me.
It's something hidden at eBAY at first views, gladly have saved as "bluetooth.txt" files for further retrieval as "BCK-08" keyword search
Again thank to Bobby, this kinda brain-storming thread the now think to give it another use to the above , ike to use it with my recent bought Apogee 200W RMS 15" Active cab (injected plastic) similar to an EV cab
I considered better not as brand but with more features as came with a socket for an extra passive cab that adds extra 200W RMS for a total of whooping 400W RMS.
Also comes with LED display and USB/SD support, a basic mixer and EQ settings. All that features got me amazed, beyond my preference that was Mackie for sure that sadly didn't come with socket for an extra passive cab.
Has a good woofer punch and titanium driver, not cheap but convenient at U$ 400 here , that let me giggin on small venues with only one active cab (200W )
For bigger rooms I'd add a passive Electrovoice 15" cab (think that everything is just MONO)
As don't want to consider this spam, please for further detilas go to Apogeesound , eBAY or hit me offlist.
>He'll walk up, wave his phone at you and say "Whattaya wanna hear?" >Pretty slick, that boy.
If anybody adds that $ 10 ( + $0.22 shipping ) to their arsenal would be able to radiate thru their bluetooth enabled cell, music directly "without wires" and broadcat music to their amp , as on the other end the gadget has a Bluetooth receiver for the LINE-IN socket.
Think about it's a smart idea.
And that without changing even for a smartphone, nice huh ?
Best,
Rafael

Yes, mostly because he's not trapped in the booth (it's up a ladder over one of the bars) while making adjustments. This is a huge advantage for any sound man.
Not only that, but even the music thundering out of the house system between acts is streaming from his phone as he strolls around. He'll walk up, wave his phone at you and say "Whattaya wanna hear?" Pretty slick, that boy.
