Subject: [CWSG] Preamps, rack mounted.
Hi all. I am looking for recommendations for a rack mounted preamp that would be
used to drive a Leslie 147 amp. I'd like to mount it inside a "tone cab" type
amp I put together; it's set up as a motor less Leslie; 147 amp, vintage xover,
16 ohm components. Currently I am using my Trek uc1a to drive it, and it really
does the trick. In the interest of slimming down the bits, and cables, I was
thinking about a decent preamp that would be suitable to drive a 147. Need 2
equal inputs; not 1 hi & 1 lo, some eq, o/d, gain etc... Any recs positive or
negative greatly appreciated. Inquired about this with MS at Trek, they haven't
built a rack mount preamp, yet. Thanks all, JoeyGB3NY.
