Many players avoid that because they are afraid of it. No offense
meant by my comment.

This brings up a good subject regarding how much to copy a seminal
solo like Hush. When I used to play it I played it as close to the
original as possible, just because it is such a famous solo. I rarely
if ever improvised that. However, I don;t begrudge anyone from
improvising anything.

Sane goes for Light My Fire, Lee Michaels' Stormy Monday, etc...

How do all of you feel about this?
