Well, I can read Japanese, and you're right, Hammond is really not
mentioned, they call it electronic organ, and CX3 were combo organ.
They emphasized those organs as instruments good for jazz, rock and
fusion, and talked about drawbars and powerful sound with percussion,
key click and overdrive. It's mentioned that CX3 is bestseller.
It looks also that Korg started that "X" fashion in the name of
instrument, they wanted to have something like B3, but of course
different because of copyright. So they did BX, CX, and later Yamaha
copied and continued DX. More later Yamaha used also AX, BX, CX, EX,
FX, GX, HX, KX, LX, MX, RX, SX, TX, UX, VX, WX. They have X in many
other names...
And Hammond/Suzuki has XB, XK...
