I owned one of these original BX-3's (with matching stand) for a few years. Truth be told, it didn't sound that much like a Hammond. It used top-octave-division synthesis, so it didn't replicate the Hammond's idiosyncratic harmonic structure, and it didn't have waterfall keys. I sold it when I got an XB-2, which while also flawed came a lot closer to hitting the mark sonically.

As I recall, it had a great user interface though. Controls were very nicely and intuitively laid out.
