If you truly quest for a portable system like the Hammond AO28 preamp & Leslie. The solution is available now. You are right, keyboard amps & standard PA gear is not the answer. And the price tag is not a million bucks. I can tell you it will be the last system one will ever buy. Then you can get to work on creating music & stop the insane search.

If you really want to hear how good the Numa is, run it through a Hammond and leslie if you can( through the RCA jack of a Hammond preamp) or make sure the speakers and amp you hear it with have a similar tonal balance that a leslie might have.

Then you might understand why Keyboard Magazine gives it such high praise.
