Hahaha, I can just imagine..
yeah too bad they shut down, they were on to something. Thanks for
mentioning about Ramsa. I now know why the DA7 board came out so well.
Some call it a small SSL in some ways.

Mostly got them coffee. lol
Sales manager. No longer in the pro audio game. Ramsa was such a
small part of Panasonic we always wore many hats; sales mgr., product
developer/mgr., pr, chauffeur (for engineers and brass from Japan),
gopher, etc. Met some great people, learned a lot but ultimately had
to move on to something that paid a little more dinero. It was sad to
hear they had shut the division down a few years back. They made great
consoles and speakers. Amps, too. DAT machines, too.
Ahh, the good ole days.

Wow, I have a first version DA-7 and still use it. I had no idea Roger
was in on it or Don, Al. What did you do with them for the board?

Roger lent his golden ears and significant technical know-how to the
development of the DA-7 small format digital mixer. A lot more went
into that little board than many are aware of. Other contributors
included Don Was, Yello, Al Kooper, Elliot Scheiner - I'm sure I'm
forgetting someone. The cool part for me was the chance to spend some
quality time with each of them. Super people, every one. Roger was
always approachable and down to earth. And incredibly talented.

BC, Curious what did Roger do for Ramsa?
