This is an excellent deal and HIGHLY recommended for anyone who cares about their sound.

The tonal consistency from low to high -- even when rolling off the lows to get out of the bass player's way, or boosting them for left-hand bass -- is incredible. It's hard to describe - it just needs to be heard; those that have heard my rig (AMA, 2-channel Tube Pre, Gig Rig 12s) are blown away.

It truly is headphone-quality in live speakers, which I haven't ever heard in a combo amp. Even two-way PA speakers (with their single x-over point) can't compete - you need far more than mid and high range to reveal the sound of your keyboard, and mudding up the low end (especially if you're playing LH bass) just produces a low rumble, but all the character of the sound is lost.

Speakeasy is the only company that treats keyboard amplification as seriously as it needs to be taken. We need to rid ourselves of the cycle of disposable, "good enough for now" keyboard amps. Buying a gold-standard keyboard and playing it through a combo amp is like buying a premium Blu-Ray player with expensive cables then watching movies on a 13" black & white tube set ...
