You may be surprised to learn that the XB-2's engine was considered by
Ham-Suz management in place of the long loops they now use, by an
American old Hammond Chicago egg head who used to work for Ham-Suz in
an advisory capacity. I prefer the XB sound and what it does to your
brain if you can hear it, over the long loops of the newer Ham-Suz
clones. Factor in, that the old 1934 tonewheels still sound the best
after 77 years. 20 years of the right formula is still nothing..Let's
see what players will say after 20 years of long loops over the XB-2,
the tonewheel notwithstanding..That's if no giant strides in digital
cloning take place. It took Ham-Suz 25 years to make the first post
Ham-Chi B3.
