...so it "magically " compensates for any speaker/cabinet response issues?
That statement makes no sense. You have a high pass, bandpass, and low pass filter with flat response?
...anyone else with an engineering background want to comment?

Headphone is what you hear with a good head set. Studio is the same sound live. Out of the box is missing many frequency's

Yes we upgrade your 2-way's to 3-way versions. Headphone quility live

Keyboard amps miss lots of the frequency range as well
