Subject:RE: Offtopic : Les Paul first prototype

I owned a music store at the time and took the paisley P-Bass in trade. It sounded great but I thought someone had
wall papered the body (it was pink paisley as well and I thought it was ugly). I was just about to refinish it when a friend
of mine stopped me and said “Fender did that!”….so it stayed original….just in the nick of time……I’ll still burn for those
Les Paul Deluxe Gold Top’s that I converted to full size humbuckers…..oh well I was requested often in those days… ☺
